At WATCHBRICK MOD, we take pride in the craftsmanship and reliability of our hand-assembled timepieces. Every watch we build undergoes careful assembly and quality control to ensure dependable performance.

This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to request assistance if you experience an issue with your watch.


12-Month Limited Warranty

All watches purchased from WATCHBRICK MOD are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies to the internal mechanical functioning of the watch and specifically covers:

What Is Covered

  • Movement Defects:
    Manufacturing defects or mechanical failures in the watch movement (such as NH34, NH35, NH36, VK63, or similar calibres).

  • Functional Malfunctions:
    Issues that prevent the watch from operating as intended due to a fault in assembly or internal components.

  • Timekeeping Accuracy Issues:
    If the movement performs significantly outside its normal technical specifications due to a manufacturing defect.

If a valid issue is confirmed, we will repair the watch at no cost or, where necessary, provide a replacement.


What Is Not Covered

To ensure clarity, the following are not covered under this warranty:

Water Damage

  • Damage caused by exposure beyond the stated water-resistance rating

  • Failure to properly secure a screw-down crown

  • Use of the watch in water without following proper handling instructions

Accidental or Physical Damage

  • Cracked or scratched crystals

  • Dents, drops, impacts, or mishandling

  • Broken lugs, crowns, or bracelets caused by misuse

Normal Wear and Tear

  • Scratches to the case or bracelet from everyday use

  • Ageing, stretching, or fading of leather, rubber, or fabric straps

  • Natural cosmetic ageing of coatings or finishes

Unauthorised Repairs or Modifications

  • Any attempt to open the case back

  • Repairs or alterations performed by third parties

  • Modifications made after purchase

Any of the above actions will void the WATCH MODS warranty.


How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your watch has developed a mechanical issue covered by this warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us
    Email support@watchbrickmod.com with:

    • Your order number

    • A description of the issue

    • Clear photos or a short video showing the problem (if applicable)

  2. Assessment
    Our team will review your claim within 24–48 hours and advise whether the issue is covered.

  3. Resolution
    If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the watch for repair or replacement.


Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

  • Within the first 30 days after delivery:
    WATCHBRICK MODS will cover both return shipping and reshipping costs for approved warranty claims.

  • After 30 days:
    The customer is responsible for shipping the watch to our service address.
    WATCHBRICK MODS will cover the cost of the repair and the return shipping back to you.


Limitations

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.

The warranty covers functional defects only and does not provide refunds for change of mind, cosmetic concerns, or normal usage-related wear.


Independent Brand Disclaimer

WATCH MODS is an independent watch modification and assembly brand operated by WATCHBRICK MOD. This warranty is provided solely by WATCHBRICK MODS and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or backed by Seiko Holdings Corporation or any other original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Where do you ship and will I pay duties?

We ship internationally to most countries using DHL Express.

All Watchmods timepieces are hand-assembled in our Hong Kong workshop and shipped directly from Hong Kong to your delivery address.

Import duties, taxes, and customs fees (if any) are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the customer. These charges vary by country and are not included in the product price.

We declare shipments accurately and provide full tracking information so you can monitor your delivery every step of the way.

When will my order be shipped?

Each watch is hand-assembled to order in our workshop.
Our typical production time is 4–6 business days before shipping.Once your watch is completed and quality checked, it will be dispatched via DHL Express, and you will receive a tracking number by email. Shipping Policy

Where do you ship from?

We are an Australian-owned brand. To ensure the highest craftsmanship, our primary workshop is in Hong Kong.

This strategic location allows us to work closely with elite suppliers, ensuring every watch is hand-assembled and regulated by our team. Unlike generic drop-shippers, we personally vet every build before global shipping.

How long does shipping take?

We ship all orders using DHL Express.

Delivery typically takes 4–8 business days after your order has been dispatched.

Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow your delivery in real time.

Why does my DHL tracking only show “Shipment information received”?

This status may appear shortly after dispatch. Your parcel has already been handed over for export processing, but because we ship orders in bulk through our logistics partner, it can take a few days before DHL performs the first scan and updates tracking details.

This is normal, especially during peak seasons or when the Hong Kong hub is experiencing high volume. Once DHL completes the initial scan, tracking will update and move normally.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-Day Return Window on eligible products.

Returns are always accepted for manufacturing defects, faults, or incorrect items. In these cases, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund.

What payment methods do you accept?

What is a Custom Seiko Mod Watches ?

A Custom Seiko Mod Watch is a timepiece built using high-quality aftermarket components and a reliable Seiko-compatible movement such as the NH35, NH34, or VK63.

Each watch is individually hand-assembled to create a unique design that is not available as a standard factory model.

How long does it take to build a mod watch?

Every watch is hand-assembled to order.
Our typical build time is 4–6 business days, followed by full quality checks before dispatch.

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes. All watches come with a 12-month mechanical warranty covering movement and assembly defects.

This does not include normal wear, accidental damage, or water misuse.

Are the watches water-resistant?

Most models are rated at 3ATM, suitable for daily wear and light splashes.

They are not designed for swimming or diving unless specifically stated.
